All Founding Members will be able to book time at Sykes Self-Service Garage during a soft opening period before we open to the general public. This will allow you immediate access to our tools and hoists before our schedule starts to take additional reservations. You will only be competing for times with other Founding Members. The soft opening period will be determined by the amount of Founding Members and could range from 3 months to more than a year.

Rocket, Nailhead, and 1 Day Access Members can use the shop facilities during core business hours as long as: There is a vacancy in a bay when the member walks in, OR will schedule their time online to reserve a bay before coming in. If vehicle service takes longer than expected member may borrow hours from following months to cover vehicle occupancy in repair bay at loss of the following months available usage.

$5k Firepower Members are granted a lifetime of access to the shop off-peak business hours. Peak hours are usually core business hours on Fridays and Saturdays and could be subject to change. $5k Firepower Members are encouraged to check the schedule and make reservations ahead of time.

These Founding Memberships do not allow long term storage of inoperable vehicles.

Firepower and Rocket Membership sales are limited and will no longer be sold after the soft opening. This ensures enough capacity to allow members’ to access the shop during off-peak hours. Rates for yearly memberships and daily access will increase after public opening.

Membership may be terminated without reimbursement if member’s actions are not in compliance with local laws or our own requirements for personal conduct. Examples include but are not limited to: Dangerous misuse of equipment, aggressive behavior or rudeness to other customers/members or neighbors, burnouts, street racing, excessively loud music, operating equipment under the influence of alcohol or other psychoactive drugs, continuously not maintaining or cleaning up your workspace, littering or theft.

If for any reason our hobby garage does not get off the ground, you will be 100% reimbursed. For Firepower Members, I cannot guarantee full reimbursement if the shop closes in 30 yrs, thus, your reimbursement will be prorated by $1000 per year. Example: after 5 yrs of operation, you will not be reimbursed. After two years of operation, you would be reimbursed $3000.
