I am a hobby antique car enthusiast with a driving passion to share and teach people about our hobby. I think it’s critical to make it more accessible and affordable for everyone.
I will leverage my own experience to open and operate our DIY autoshop. I have personally revived several classic cars, anything between a 1926 Dodge Brothers to a 1970 Plymouth Satellite. Professionally I am currently a Senior Powertrain Engineer at a major OEM. I also have professional hands-on automotive experience as I’ve revived vehicles for Dream Giveaway, an Autorama award winner, movie cars, restomods, and built from the floor up custom hot rods.
My interest in historic things does not end at automobiles. I have also restored a Tudor Revival home featured in the Detroit Free Press, as well as served on the Rochester Hills Historic Districts Study Committee. I consider myself a historic preservationist, and that extends to our shop on 10150 Mack Ave.
With this experience, I have the knowledge and capability to carry the restoration of the shop through to completion, ensuring it becomes not only a fully functional, professional workspace equipped for automotive repair, but also an aesthetically inspiring historic landmark for the neighborhood.
