How Else Can I Help?

Want to support but your too far away to use the shop space? Or maybe you don’t have the spare cash? That’s okay, and we totally understand. If you like the idea of restoring a 100 yr old filling station and repair shop in Detroit into a fun historic destination that supports auto hobbyists, there are still ways we would encourage you to help. You can help us achieve our goal fund by effectively reducing the remaining costs by donating needed items or volunteering your skills!

Micro Donations

Small contributions add up fast.

3% Cover the Fee

Micro donations are non-refundable. You are not subscribing to anything and there are no reoccurring fees. This is for a small one time donation only that will be use to restore, and/or operate a small DIY auto hobby shop.

Donate used tools, equipment or historic architectural elements.

We are looking for old shop memorabilia, 1920s gravity feed pumps, mechanics tools, tool boxes, hoists, wood cabinets, and many more items. If you would like shop time we will gladly trade for needed items to complete the garage and filling station’s restoration. Donate enough and become a founding member!

Volunteer your specialized Skills

Are you a skilled tradesperson, or able bodied and would like to get your hands dirty restoring the old garage? We will gladly trade shop time for your labor and skills. We will be looking for individuals to help hang garage doors, paint, cut glass, concrete work, landscaping, and other items. Share enough of the work with us and become a founding member!
